StepSnap Privacy Policy

StepSnap records steps and screenshots entirely on your device.

• Screenshots, step text, and guides are stored only in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). They are never transmitted to us or any third party.
• The extension makes network requests only when you activate or validate a Pro license (to Lemon Squeezy's license API). No guide content is included in those requests.
• Host access is requested at recording time only ("this site" or, if you choose, all sites) and is used solely to capture the steps you record.
• We run no analytics and no tracking.
